Origin HeartGold Guide

Quest guide

Over 350 side quests, puzzles and easy-to-miss events, chapter by chapter in rough play order. Pick your starter and whether you play as a boy or a girl, and quests your game can’t get are hidden.

Pokédex

Each species with the hack’s own types, abilities, base stats, evolutions, level-up moves, TMs, tutors, egg moves and the places we found it in the game data.

Locations

Each place on one page: its quests, wild Pokémon by time of day and method, trainers with full teams, items and shops.

Read from the game

The Pokédex, locations, items and trainers are generated from the game’s data, with the English patch’s names. Some details still need in-game confirmation. Spot a mistake? Every page has a “Report a problem” link.
