Effect

An item to be held by a Pokémon. It raises the Defense and Sp. Def of a Pokémon that can still evolve.

Follow the linked quests for story requirements. A listed source does not always mean you can get the item more than once.

Trainers' Pokémon (steal it with Thief or Covet), e.g. the Rhydon battle on Route 40 — Your Pokémon keeps holding it after the battle; it does not go to the Bag. This is the copy trainers' Pokémon hold; another Eviolite can be obtained and is listed separately.

Held by trainers’ Pokémon (112 teams)

A trainer's held item is not necessarily obtainable. Check the battle location and story conditions on their team page.
