- Trainers' Pokémon (steal it with Thief or Covet), e.g. the Team Rocket Grunt's Pinsir on the S.S. Anne — Your Pokémon keeps holding it after the battle; it does not go to the Bag. If your Pokémon drops to low HP later in that battle, it eats the berry.
