Steel Armor

Items pocket

Effect

If Mewtwo holds it, Mewtwo changes into its Armored Form.

Follow the linked quests for story requirements. A listed source does not always mean you can get the item more than once.

Item balls on the ground

• Cinnabar Island, north house

Held-item transformation

• Mewtwo holding Steel Armor becomes Armored Mewtwo. No nature requirement.

These are held-item transformations, not permanent evolutions. Removing the required item returns the Pokémon to its base form.
