Indigo Plateau

Kanto

Quests and events

• Indigo Plateau: the Indigo Conference main tournament and the "who do you cheer for?" choice (romance)
• Indigo Plateau (final chapter): Mewtwo joins you (take it before the Elite Four)
• Indigo Plateau slope (final chapter): Steven's and Cynthia's confessions

Gifts, trades and scripted encounters

• Gift: Mewtwo (Lv. 95) — Indigo Plateau slope — Mewtwo’s barrier scene

After Mewtwo breaks the Indigo Plateau barrier and you win the Multi Battle beside it, accept its gift with a free party slot. Take it before entering the final Elite Four challenge: the final Hall of Fame removes it permanently.

See Indigo Plateau (final chapter): Mewtwo joins you (take it before the Elite Four), Indigo Plateau slope (final chapter): Steven's and Cynthia's confessions

Some of these depend on your starter, story progress or a choice. See the quests above.
